Worshiping with us at St. Elizabeth's

Sunday Morning Worship

St. Elizabeth's is currently worshipping in-person on Sundays at 10:00 am and on Wednesdays at 6:00 pm. At this time no nursery or children's church is provided at either service, so children are welcomed and encouraged to join their church family in the sanctuary

Current COVID Protocols

At this time our normative practice is outlined in the CDC infographic available here.

Although indoor worship Service is listed, if we are not at the full capacity of our nave, Services fall under the third indoor activity listed.  Please note the recommended mask use to the left and to the right of each activity as well as the important notes below the infographic.  These are applicable to all worship actions (singing, serving as a liturgical minister, the sign of peace, receiving Communion, etc.)  Your cooperation is appreciated.

Wednesday Night Holy Eucharist (6:00 pm)
At this time, for the sake of those unable to be vaccinated or are uncomfortable in larger gatherings, we ask all in attendance be prepared to wear masks and maintain the CDC recommended social distance.  No sign up is necessary.

Receiving Communion

  • The fullness of Eucharist is present and received by a communicant through the reception of The Body of Christ (consecrated bread), The Blood of Christ (consecrated wine) or Spiritual Communion (when appropriate).

  • We are resuming the practice of utilizing the entire Communion rail.  Please follow the directions from the ushers.

  • At this time reception of the Precious Blood of Christ will be administered only by self-intinction (you, the communicant, dips the consecrated bread into the consecrated wine).  Parents:  Please assist your child if you anticipate he or she will have difficulty with this.  After you instinct the child’s consecrated bread, place it on his or her tongue.
